Cookies and local storage
This page is a complete inventory of what PeptideHelper.org stores on your device. It supplements the privacy policy.
Cookies: none
The Site sets no cookies at all. Not for advertising, not for analytics, not for sessions. Analytics are aggregate and cookieless, and because there is no sign-in there is no session to keep. Earlier versions of the Site set two authentication cookies alongside a discussion forum; the forum and the sign-in that supported it have been removed, and those cookies are no longer issued.
Local storage
Local storage keeps preferences and tool state on your device. These entries are not cookies, are not transmitted to us, and are not readable by other sites.
- peptide-helper-acknowledgment: records that the entry acknowledgement was accepted, so it is not shown on every visit.
- peptides-theme: light or dark theme preference.
- peptides-calc-v1: the dosage calculator's last inputs.
- peptides-dosetiming-v1: the dose-timing tool's last inputs.
- ph_follows_v1: peptides you have followed. With no accounts, this list is local to this browser and syncs nowhere.
- peptide-helper-eval-walkthrough-v1: whether the evaluator walkthrough has been seen.
- peptide-helper-site-search-recent-v1: recent site-search terms, for the search panel.
The protocol builder is the deliberate exception: it writes nothing. A protocol exists in memory for one visit to that page and is discarded when you navigate away.
Clearing what is stored
Clearing site data for peptidehelper.org in your browser removes every entry above, and individual entries can be cleared from your browser's developer tools. Clearing the acknowledgement entry means the entry notice appears again on your next visit. Browsers can also block storage entirely, in which case the reference still works and preferences simply do not persist between visits.
Third-party sites
Outbound vendor links lead to sites that set their own cookies under their own policies. We have no visibility into or control over what they store once you leave this Site.
