This page describes what information PeptideHelper.org collects, how we use it, and your rights. The site is operated as a static reference; we collect the minimum data required to keep it online and to know whether anyone is reading.
What we collect
- Server logs — your IP address, user-agent, request path, and timestamp are logged by our hosting provider as standard web-server access logs. These are retained for a short rolling window for abuse mitigation and analytics.
- Privacy-preserving analytics — aggregate page-view counts and referrer domains. We do not use cookies for analytics and do not assemble cross-site profiles.
- Email correspondence — if you email us, we retain that message in our mailbox.
What we do not collect
- We do not require an account or user registration.
- We do not run third-party advertising or remarketing pixels.
- We do not set tracking cookies. We use no localStorage beyond a single dark-mode preference key.
Affiliate links
Affiliate vendor links are external links. When you click one, the vendor's site may set its own cookies and collect its own analytics under its own privacy policy. PeptideHelper.org has no visibility into and no control over what those vendors collect after you leave this site.
Your rights
Residents of the EU/EEA (GDPR), the United Kingdom (UK GDPR), California (CCPA/CPRA), and Quebec (Law 25) have rights to access, correct, port, and delete personal data we hold about them. Because we hold almost nothing about individual visitors, in practice this typically means deleting any email correspondence you have sent us. Send requests to privacy@peptidehelper.org.
Children
The site is intended for adult researchers and clinicians. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
We will revise this page when the site's data practices change. The "Last reviewed" date at the top reflects the most recent review.
