DMCA and copyright policy
PeptideHelper.org respects intellectual property rights and responds to notices of claimed copyright infringement in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. section 512. This page sets out how to submit a notice, how to submit a counter-notice, and what happens after each.
All content on this Site is our own editorial work. The Site hosts no accounts and accepts no reader submissions, so nothing here is user-generated. The procedures below remain available so that any rights-holder who believes our material infringes their work has a documented route to tell us.
Submitting a notice of claimed infringement
If you believe material on this Site infringes a copyright you own or are authorised to act for, send a written notice to contact@peptidehelper.org with the subject line "DMCA Notice". To be effective under section 512(c)(3), the notice must include all of the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner, or of a person authorised to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or a representative list if several works are covered by a single notice.
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it. A direct URL is the most reliable form.
- Your contact information: name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorised to act on the owner's behalf.
An incomplete notice may not be effective. We may ask for clarification before acting.
What happens after a valid notice
On receiving an effective notice we act expeditiously to remove or disable access to the material identified, and we respond to the sender. Were the Site ever to host submitted material, we would take reasonable steps to notify whoever posted it and provide a copy of the notice so a counter-notice could be filed.
Submitting a counter-notice
If your material was removed and you believe the removal was the result of a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to contact@peptidehelper.org with the subject line "DMCA Counter-Notice". Under section 512(g)(3) it must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed and the location at which it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or, if your address is outside the United States, to the jurisdiction of any judicial district in which the Site may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original notice or their agent.
What happens after a counter-notice
We forward an effective counter-notice to the party who submitted the original notice. Unless that party notifies us that they have filed a court action seeking to restrain the allegedly infringing activity, we may restore the removed material not less than 10 and not more than 14 business days after receiving the counter-notice.
Repeat infringers
The Site hosts no accounts, so there are no user accounts to terminate. Should the Site accept submissions in future, repeat infringers will have that access terminated in appropriate circumstances and without prior notice.
Misrepresentation
Under section 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed by mistake or misidentification, may be liable for damages, including costs and legal fees. Notices and counter-notices are legal statements. Consider consulting a lawyer before submitting one.
Designated agent
The Site is owned and operated by Contra Holdings LLC. Notices and counter-notices under this policy should be directed to its designated agent at contact@peptidehelper.org. We monitor this address for copyright correspondence and respond to effective notices as described above.
Trademark and other intellectual property
Complaints that do not concern copyright, including trademark and publicity-rights complaints, can be sent to the same address with a description of the right asserted and the material at issue.
Effective date: August 5, 2026.
